May 7 We had 26 players come out yesterday to celebrate the new winners of the Mr. & Mrs.
club Championship. Congratulations to Mike and Lynn Bridges, our new champions.

3 rd Place Mark and Mary Peterson

The Bridges and Chesters took first place in our game of 1 best ball (Gross) and 1 best ball
(net). Mark and Susan Alderson playing with Fred and Gayle Stone were second place. We
had a tie for DFL, so we honored our new couple, Phil and Trish LeBlanc with the
award. Please contact Phil and Trish to set up a game. They were playing with Jeff and
Marianne Krpan. Their prize was special lids for bowls or cans. Closest to the pin winners
were Jeff Krpan, Mary Peterson, Fred Stone and Laury Smude.
We will play a game next Sunday (Mother's Day) so get a tee time and come join us. If you
need partners, contact me, and I will try to set you up. Don't forget this Friday, May 12th is the
first twilight event of the summer.
May 12 Twilight Golf Ten foursome's came out for a 2 person alternate shot game. Men
teed off from the white tees on the odd holes, and the women played the red tees and drove
on the even holes. Each twosome's scores were combined for a team score. Thank you to
Henry for putting together a fun game. After golf, Jo-Anne arranged for us to enjoy a tri tip
dinner.

The next twilight golf event is June 9. The Sunday Social group also has their annual
Firecracker derby on July 2nd. This is a 9:00 shotgun with a BBQ lunch following. Get your
partners for this fun event. More details will be forthcoming.
