OUTSOLES
Outsole type and construction are chosen individually for each boot based on its features and functional requirements. We have used years of experience and knowledge from our R & D department and years of collaboration with World cup athletes to develop Alpina outsoles for both Skate and Classic techniques with specific characteristics. We are happy to choose the best options for every shoe.
75 MM Material: TPU Standard 75 mm sole; provides excellent support in rugged terrain; non-slip profile with specially made rubber
mixture. Tourer free 75 and Alaska 75 use Vibram brand soles.
ALPINA DYNO- PLATE
ALPINA ELITE CLASSIC CHASSIS
Material: PEBAX + Carbon Fibers DYNO-PLATE is an injection-molded plastic panel designed for a high dynamic response to bending. To keep the plate thin and lightweight, carbon fibers are added, further enhancing its flexibility and responsiveness. This blend of plastic and carbon fiber has proven to be the ideal combination for achieving maximum dynamic response. DYNO- PLATE panels are integrated into both the ALPINA PRO CLASSIC and ALPINA PRO SKATE outsoles, significantly boosting the dynamic performance and responsiveness of each stride in both SKATE and CLASSIC ski boots.
With integrated split Classic sole Material Chassis: Full Carbon Material Sole: TPU Extremely light anatomic and ergonomic single-piece carbon-made soft, pliable sole flex chassis construction with directly integrated NNN compatible Classic toe & heel plate. The chassis construction provides maximum longitudinal stability, superior responsiveness, and power transmission by the foot to the ski, with“ FREE – FEET” & adaptable heel pocket construction for minimum heel stress and optimal foot fit.
With integrated split Skate sole Material Chassis: Full Carbon Material Sole: TPU Extremely light anatomic and ergonomic single-piece carbon-made stiff sole flex chassis construction with integrated NNN compatible Skate toe & heel plate. The chassis provides maximum longitudinal stiffness and lateral stability, superior lateral responsiveness, and power transmission by foot to the ski, with“ FREE – FEET” & adaptable heel pocket construction for minimum heel stress and for optimal foot and ankle fit.

PULSE 1.0
ALPINA PULSE 2.0
Material Chassis: Full Carbon Material Sole: TPU Rottefella SkateX: Precision Design for Enhanced Performance Engineered specifically for skate skiing, Rottefella ' s SkateX introduces a groundbreaking system that surpasses the traditional NNN binding. Featuring a reinforced carbon fiber chassis, it delivers superior lateral stability and balance. Optimized for efficient energy use, the SkateX system ensures smooth, powerful strides, making it ideal for high-performance skating on demanding courses.
Material: TPU The specially designed sole for classic skiing features an NNN-compatible pivot point shifted 10 mm forward for a more efficient and powerful push-off, improving ski-to-snow contact. The thin-layer construction ensures a lightweight sole, while the low heel and 90-degree forefoot design provide optimal soft flex for enhanced comfort and performance.
Material: TPU The specially designed outsole for skate skiing features a thin-layer construction for a lightweight feel, along with a high heel and 45-degree angled forefoot for optimal stiff flex. The NNN-compatible pivot point is slightly repositioned under the big toe, enhancing efficiency and delivering a stronger, more precise push-off.
Material: TPU PULSE soles are designed to fit the NNN system, ensuring compatibility with cross-country ski bindings. Their neutral design, balancing the height of the heel in relation to the metatarsal or forefoot, provides excellent stability and a well-balanced stance. The large walking surface enhances control and support, making them ideal for both diagonal and gliding cross-country skiing techniques.
Material: TPU PULSE 2.0 outsoles upgrade the functionality of the previous generation. They maintain the neutrality of the design in terms of their universality or suitability for both diagonal and skating running techniques on the one hand, while on the other hand they offer improved functionality in terms of flex and flexural strength. The walking surface remains large, allowing a firm stride both on and off skis.
