GREEN HEAVEN SMOOTHIE
Serves 1
Get your greens in this deliciously
thick and highly nutritious
smoothie. This is especially
good for you first thing in the
morning or after a workout, as
it is alkalizing for the body and
serves as a hearty meal. Ingesting
alkaline foods regularly, such as
leafy greens, helps our body to
fight disease. Feel free to use any
combination of greens you like.
1 ripe banana, frozen
2 handfuls of spinach,
kale, or romaine
1¼ cups almond milk
¼ avocado
1 tablespoon raw almond butter
1 tablespoon chia seeds
2 dates, pitted
Handful of ice
Blend all of the ingredients
together in a blender until smooth
and creamy. If your smoothie
is too thick, add a dash more
almond milk. Top with a dash
of cinnamon or nutmeg.
