ARIELLE ’ S friendly face has been greeting the patients at Allure ’ s Livonia and Southgate offices for the past two and a half years . In addition to working the front desk at these offices , she also pitches in as floor director . Arielle joined Allure after earning an Associate Degree in Applied Science from Baker College . She is excited about career opportunities within the company , having begun as a medical receptionist and now training to become a medical assistant . “ I truly enjoy interacting with people and utilizing my customer service skills ,” she says . “ I enjoy making our patients feel comfortable .” Born and raised in Romulus , Arielle loves to travel and dance . She enjoys spending time with her son , family , and friends .
MARY came to Allure four years ago , having spent her career marketing consumer-facing services for industries ranging from skincare to automotive to retail . She loves that Allure joins together her two passions — marketing and health and beauty . Her favorite part of working at Allure is the idea that the company can help people live better lives . “ Marketing is just the beginning of connecting people to our services , says Mary . “ What happens in the offices is pure magic — from the service to results and the overall experience we deliver to our patients . It is fascinating to see it all come together .” Mary admires the time and energy Dr . Mok puts into researching innovations in health care : “ I am amazed by his ability to take volumes of information and distill it into things that work for our patients .” Mary earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Marquette University in Milwaukee , Wisconsin . Outside of the office , she is a busy wife and mom of two . She loves to run , practice yoga , and travel throughout Northern Michigan .
SHANA is Allure ’ s Director of Nutrition Services , a role she created after joining the company two years ago . Shana holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition , which she earned after attending Georgia State , Life University , and Oakland University . Because of her passion for healthy living , she appreciates the opportunities that Allure offers to “ use my integrative services to help patients create a better lifestyle .” In her role with Allure , Shana offers patients access to nutritional counseling services as well as contributing to the marketing program and Allure blog . She subscribes to the philosophy of noted holistic health expert Ann Wigmore who stated that “ the food you eat can either be the safest and most powerful form of medicine or the slowest form of poison .” Outside of work , Shana is a certified yoga instructor and loves developing new , healthy recipes for family and friends .
MICHELLE will celebrate her 10th anniversary with Allure this coming February , having begun as a medical assistant and now running the Hormone Replacement Therapy department . “ It is exciting that our department has grown right alongside the rest of the company ,” Michelle says . “ I love that I can spend my days helping people look and feel better through our hormone replacement therapy services .” She notes the rapid growth that the department experienced after the publication of Dr . Mok ’ s book Testosterone : Strong Enough for a Man , Made for a Woman . “ This publication provided our patients the education and confidence they need to make decisions for their health ,” she said . Michelle already holds degrees from Macomb Community College , where she earned an associate degree , and Dorsey Schools , where she earned an MA Certification . Always interested in learning , she is currently working on a Bachelor of Health Care Management Degree from Kettering College . Outside of work , Michelle is a busy mom who loves spending time with her family .
