You`ll need to pay close attention to the following tips so you know what to do. I`ll be talking about what to feed and what not to feed a Saint Bernard, keeping your dog in shape, (So it doesn't get fat or dirty.) And exercise. Also, Be sure to observe how to keep your house clean while you have a Saint Bernard. For food, start off giving your dog a smaller amount of food and then progress on until you reach three cups. Do not feed a Saint Bernard Nuts, chocolate, or grapes. (Raisins too) They are poison. Give them so,e type of dictary variation. (Treats.) Be sure to feed them once at eight o`clock in the mourning and once at six o`clock in the evening. Grooming/Bathing Saint Bernard's do not bathe themselves, so you'll have to give them a bath every once-in-a-while.You can use shampoo and conditioner, but don`t get it in your dogs eyes! Also, you should clip your dogs nails every now-and-then. You don`t half to, but if you don`t, those claws will get pretty sharp! Cleaning These dogs tend to drool a lot too. And when I say a lot, I mean ALOT! So these dogs just trample around and drool, NO! All you half to do is remember to wipe their drool with a towel when they drool.b Also, my Saint Bernard sheds a lot too, so be sure to cover your couch with a blanket that you don`t mind getting hairy. Exercise Okay, look. It may sound like a lot of work, but its FUN taking care of a Saint Bernard! You should exercise your Saint Bernard every day so he or she doesn't`t get all antsy. Take them for a walk and play with them every day. Also, You should be sure to give them lots of space. They can grow up to three feet and might even be able to grow taller than that even.
