What is Junk Food?
Is it ice cream, or is it cookies or potato chips?
Those yummy potato chips, the cookies drizzled with chocolate or the creamy ice cream that just melts in your mouth. Junk food, packaged in plastic bags look harmless but looks can be deceiving. Don't judge something by its cover. Those ads on tv, are advertising obesity and diabetes to young children. Junk foods such as soda, fried chicken, french fries, frozen meals, pizza, burgers , doughnuts or cheese are high in sugar and cholesterol that are not healthy for the body. These foods can be tasty but is the taste worth the health risk. At a young age children should try their best to stay away from these foods in order to maintain a healthy diet as an adult. Why eat junk food when it can be bad to your health. Do you think that your favorite celebrity eat a lot of junk food. How does Zac Efron, Jennifer Lawrence or Channing Tatum stay in such great shape: by staying away from too much junk food. Junk food may be okay to eat once in a while, but what happens if you eat too much? Teenagers love eating junk food, everywhere teens go to hang out, junk food is available for them to purchase. At movie theaters theres butter with popcorn, and a wide array of candy to choose from. At the supermarket there are aisles and aisles filled with junk food from potato chips to creamy ice cream. In order to ensure that a teenagers help stay as healthy as possible try to eat junk foods in moderation. Start by eating less junk food early so you can stay healthy in the future, its not too late to stick to a healthier diet.
