Key performance indicators for a website can be measured through website trafficking. This is essentially like measuring the footfall for a store. Another way we can measure this is by is the amount of promotional emails that are being sent out to customers who have signed up to receive any deals or information. Measuring the footfall at the Press Event is important, as the Brand will want to know how successful the event has been. Outside the doors of the Press Event an infrared beam will be installed which will allow the footfall of the event to be measured, as each person walks through they will get counted. After, the success of the event can be measured and compared to the goals that were originally set. As well as this, the venue will have heat map sensors installed underneath the floors. The heat sensors will help determine the most popular areas of the event.

Conversion rate for an online store is the people who visit your website vs the people who actually buy.
