1. Displays interest/attention during classroom activities for
approximately 5-10 minutes

- Sizes: big, small
- Colors: more than five colors
- Shapes: circle, square, triangle, oval, heart and others
4. Beginning to group objects according to 1 physical attribute with
help from an adult
5. Begins to make comparisons in association with amounts, using
correct terminology: many, few
6. Makes “one-to one” correspondence
7. Recognizes the number 1-3 in written form (minimum)
8. Follows directions that describe using basic “position words”:
up-down, inside-outside (minimum)
9. Puts together puzzles of 4 pieces
10. Anticipates daily routine activities
11. Solves problems through trial and error
12. Change behavior in order to change reaction
13. Understand the concept of the #1
14. Indicates that he/she has wet or soiled under garments/diaper
by pointing, using verbal expression or tugging at diaper
15. Poking dropping, pushing, pulling and squeezing objects to see
what will happen
16. Identifying their own clothing items
17. Gives meaning to own scribbling
