Understanding Goals
Goals and objectives are what children need to learn. Clear and realistic goals guide us to
implement activities that support each child’s individual pattern of development and learning
style. Have in mind that our overall goal is to support all areas of child development such as
social and emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development. Provide lessons focused on
specific objective but also take advantage of each opportunity that comes. An ongoing weekly
assessment and a personal reflection will help each teacher to reinforce or/and accommodate the
initial goals and objectives.
