Plan/execute/review: If we want to make a trip to space, we need a space ship, so we will have to
build it…
•
Planning is important. Who will be in the groups, what materials will be needed, what
each one wants. ¿What must the space ship have? ¿Who does what? ¿How much time
do we have?
•
What problems may appear?
•
The execution is the act of doing. Make sure you give the children the freedom to be the
ones who create, design, and execute the actions.
•
The time for the action, and the space assigned must be carefully designed.
The task that you have as teachers is that of facilitating the process, inquiring to promote
analysis and thought. Carefully observing the relationships, the actions and the processes that
each child is living, and stimulating those through inquiries they discover the abilities that we
want to develop.
This project fosters infinity of mind habits and mental dispositions.
-
Constellations: investigate what people have
said about constellations, what they are, and
why they have different names. Then, create
constellations using glitter, gummy candy,
sand or with the materials that the children
consider more useful to represent their stars
and constellations.
