Hi there! My name is Paulie, I'm a Yorkie and Chinese Crested mix, and I
am one very lucky little guy. In June of 2015 I was found in a box
abandoned by the side of the road in Clearwater, FL. I was found by some
wonderful people at VIP Rescue in Clearwater. They took me to a vet
because I was in pretty bad shape, but they nursed me back to health. I lived
with a foster family until August 30, 2015 when I was brought to a VIP
Rescue Adoption Event in Clearwater. There were lots of other little dogs
there and they were being adopted by some awesome people. Then it
happened....I saw my new mommy and daddy! My daddy asked one of the
volunteers if they could see me. I had been staring at them and trying to be
as good and as cute as I could be...and it worked! I was being held by
another person, but she was undecided whether she wanted to adopt me or
not, so she let the volunteer bring me over to my daddy. The second the
volunteer put me in his arms, I knew it...mommy and daddy loved me
instantly and I had a new home...just like that! I love my home. I am loved
so very much. I have a bunch of toys. My favorite thing to play is when
mommy throws my ball or plays tug of war with me with my rope. It's so
much fun! I'm a snuggler too. Daddy and I love taking naps and I am his
best bud. He tells me everyday! I love going for walks. Daddy takes me
during the day and mommy takes me for a long walk every evening. I'm a
pretty popular guy in the neighborhood too. A couple of the neighbors give
me Pupperoni treats when they see me. Pupperonis are my favorite treat!
Like I said before, I am one very lucky little guy. Not only that, but I am
one very happy little guy and I love my mommy and daddy very much!
