6 – Is there anything (project, show, other band you want to shout out, etc, etc, etc) I haven’t
asked you about you’d like to mention?
I’d really like to give a shout to Public Pressure (www.publicpressure.org) , the record label we
are on. The record label is only one side to the project. It is a cultural movement including a
magazine, a video production team producing documentaries and it is all angled towards
highlighting sub-cultures, arts and social issues. The great thing is that anyone can get involved,
and a fair few of our fans have become writers for public pressure or are starting video and radio
shows and doing stuff. I think it is an amazing project and a new way of working. I love the fact
that they don’t feel in competition with other record labels, but in fact do all they can to promote
them and their artists. It is refreshing and a great thing to be part of.
7 - If I got in the passenger seat of your car right now and hit eject on the cd player, what would I
find?
Let’s use some imagination here as I don’t have a car or a CD player, but I’ve just checked my
iPhone and the last thing I was listening to was a Placebo album of cover songs.
