In 2016 Calling All Astronauts released their critically acclaimed album Anti-Social Network . Their single , Empire , soared to number two on the Official European Indie Chart . They ’ ve had three number one hits on the Hype Machine Twitter Chart . They headlined the Bandstand Stage on the final night of Beautiful Days Festival .
To say Calling All Astronauts ’ 2016 was monumental would be an understatement . The band , comprised of David B . ( vocalist / programmer / producer ), J . Browning ( guitarist ), and Paul McCrudden ( bassist ) aren ’ t stopping there .
On March 17 , they released their new single , Divisive , via Supersonic Media . Their sound , described by David B . as , “ a mix of punk , electro , goth , EDM , metal and DNB together , a kinda mad idea , really ” has gained them a hugely supportive Twitter following of over half a million followers .
