First T houghts… "I wonder what Jesus thought about as He woke up each day?" By: Kim Borrelli Today when I woke, my first thought was, "I wonder what Jesus thought about as He woke up each day?" I pondered, what were His first thoughts as he lived among his family and then began to assemble His team of disciples? Based on the stories we know, He certainly wasn't preoccupied with packing lunches or what He was going to eat for the day. After all, we read several stories of not having food with them, even to the point of taking a little boy's lunch to feed the multitudes. We know He wasn't wondering about the weather and deciding to let a little rain storm (or a big storm (tempest) for that matter) deter Him from where He was set on going. And, as we read about Peter needing to pay the temple tax, Jesus certainly wasn't waking up counting down to the dreaded tax day - sending Peter to go grab a coin out of the mouth of a fish! I wonder just what were His first thoughts of the day?
