Chapter V
The first thing she had learned was that living creatures are not always what they seem; so you cannot judge people in advance; because you do not really know them.
Secondly, gods/goddesses seem to play roles in lives and are able to change good into evil. Or the other way around. So there are good and evil gods, which fight each other, which Alice recognises in her own life, too. The fight in a human being between good and evil is part of life. It also explains the difference between light and dark.Butterflies, spring and summer stand for light and happiness, but storms, whirlpools, autumn and winter stand for darkness and unsafety.
She also learned that things can turn out for the best, and problems can be solved as she noticed in the story of Vritomartis.
And finally she had discovered that deep waters hide lots of secrets. She remembered also a story about ships which disappeared all of a sudden in the Bermuda Triangle. Maybe there were water monsters which draw them to the bottom of the sea.
Alice did not notice that a good-looking man was observing her, she was too possessed with the things she had experienced and learned.
