The Kronas Disaster . ( In the view of two children .)

Chapter 1 It was a sunny day . Considering the fact that there are three suns on the planet , it is usually “ daytime ” on Kirya , therefore this really just means that it was a rainless & cloudless day . A great day for a ride on a famous airship , which is exactly what Mellniea ( Mell ) Katha Talen was doing , along with her friend Inizan ( Iz ) Carant Hertz . Before we delve headfirst into their adventure , I will explain a few things . First , a human looking at Mell would most likely believe she was a dragon , or something of that sort with blue scales & silver horns . In Iz ’ s case they would see ( after they got past the shock of realizing that he was bright yellow & purple , with neon green hair ) that he is , in terms of physical shape , much like a human like themselves . Now , onto the story ! So about that famous airship , yes , the Kronas 72 , the largest airship in Kirya ’ s history . This was meant to be its last voyage , since it had been in use for 47 base-standard use years . It ’ s successor , the Atlasta 63 would not be as big , but much faster , efficient , & would have a longer flight-life . It would be the start of airships even larger than the Kronas , with the Atlasta ’ s special features . Mell looked over the first floor railing & saw the docking bay approaching . Iz had gone to gather his stuff . She had already finished . But just as the craft entered the dock , the first explosion went off .
Chapter 2 Panic instantly broke out on the deck , the inside rooms , & everywhere else on the ship . Safety officials rushed around , trying to get people onto the docking platform , which the craft had miraculously succeeded in connecting to . They did a good job , judging by the fact that they were able to get almost everyone out far before the ship started to sink into the lower levels of the dock , on which workers were fleeing to avoid being crushed by the quickly deflating airship . “ IZ !” Mell called over the remaining passengers , “ IZZ ?!” “ I ’ m over here !” came a reply . After frantically searching , she found him . Thankfully , they had gathered their stuff before the ship had docked , so there was no chance of losing anything . “ Where are our parents ?” Iz asked . “ They already got off ,” she said hurriedly while she looked for a chance to escape . “ There !” she yelled to Iz pointing at a secondary docking platform that was still safe to exit on . They ran ( in Mell ’ s case , flew ) to it & were halfway across when arrows came flying at them .
Chapter 3 Out of logical , very smart instinct , they ducked , therefore avoiding being skewered , which was helpful . A second rain of projectiles came flying at them . They ducked again . Then a few people climbed up on top of the platform . They all had swords . One of them , a surprisingly young Salentev girl , who seemed to be only a few years older than them ,
