When the Whole World Was Sick

The whole world got sick and everything changed . Lots of things I was used to had to be rearranged .
No playgrounds , museums , restaurants , or parks . No Kennywood , no zoo , Chuck E . Cheese , or Eat ’ n Park .
We couldn ’ t go out , not even to the store . Even our groceries were delivered to our door .
Sometimes I worried that my family would get ill . And I also was worried because there wasn ’ t a pill .
Sometimes I felt lonely because we couldn ’ t get together With family or friends . We all missed each other .
Not going to my uncle ’ s house made me sad . And people not being safe made me mad .
But I ’ m hopeful now that my family got the vaccine . We ’ ll be together again soon and we will keep our hands clean .
