As he lurks upon his prey , As quiet as a mouse , The tiger pounces on his kill And takes it to his house . But when he swims In the big , big lake The whole forest Seems to wake . His claws like daggers in the trees , The wind blows hard instead of a breeze . The mightiest beast roars Like the wind he feels , Running almost as fast As a cheetah on wheels . The tiger is the very best , Stronger than all the rest .
