Anchoring
• To lower the anchor you can just take the Muir pole and release the clutch .
• This must be call for by the skipper .
• To release , ease the clutch to allow the chain to free fall .
• There is red marking at 30m and 60m .
• Only release the brake a small amount . No more than ¼ of a turn . Once desired amount of chain is down then you can apply the brake ager 3ghtening the clutch .
• Take a transit
• Starboard engine must be switched ON
• Morse Control switch should be engaged to the lower controls ( as pictured )
• The Starboard Engine Winch Clutch switch should be engaged ( switched down ).
• Pull the Starboard engine throcle out into idle posi3on and move the throcle forwards to increase power . This sets the speed at which the anchor will raise or lower
• Use the anchor windlass lever to the lower leg of the throcle to move the anchor up or down . Adjust speed with the throcle if necessary .
