Anchoring

• To lower the anchor you can just take the Muir pole and release the clutch.
• This must be call for by the skipper.
• To release, ease the clutch to allow the chain to free fall.
• There is red marking at 30m and 60m.
• Only release the brake a small amount. No more than ¼ of a turn. Once desired amount of chain is down then you can apply the brake ager 3ghtening the clutch.
• Take a transit
• Starboard engine must be switched ON
• Morse Control switch should be engaged to the lower controls( as pictured)
• The Starboard Engine Winch Clutch switch should be engaged( switched down).
• Pull the Starboard engine throcle out into idle posi3on and move the throcle forwards to increase power. This sets the speed at which the anchor will raise or lower
• Use the anchor windlass lever to the lower leg of the throcle to move the anchor up or down. Adjust speed with the throcle if necessary.
