Founders Jay Van Andel and Rich
DeVos started Amway more than 50
years ago with a rather big and im-
possible dream—“to provide peo-
ple with the opportunity to achieve
success,” as DeVos’ son and Amway
President Doug would recall. A long
while later, we are seeing Amway
spread across over 100 countries
and territories, reaping billions in
sales, employing tens of thousands,
and enjoying its place as a giant
multinational company.
Amway has now become synon-

we are very much grateful! But while
we think these numbers make us
what we are, it’s not. Success, for us,
