The outgoing Royal Court reflects on their time in the program
Albertville has a royalty program with participation in the Minneapolis Aquatennial and the St. Paul Winter Carnival. Each year, junior and senior students compete for the Miss Albertville crown.
Albertville residents can meet the royalty court on Wednesday, June 11, from 4-7 p. m. for the Friendly Fiesta. There will be games, activities, fiestainspired food and a pinata at 6 p. m. Then, grab some refreshing lemonade from Albertville Royalty at Alex’ s Lemonade Stand on Thursday, June 12, from 4-7 p. m. All profits made will go to Alex’ s Lemonade Stand Foundation to support childhood cancer research. Head to the fire hall from 9-11 a. m. on Saturday, June 14, where the royalty court will hand out root beer floats.
The city will then crown its 2025-26 royal court later that day at 6:30 p. m. during the Albertville Royalty Coronation at the St. Albert Parish Center, 5700 Lander Ave. NE.
Albertville Royalty will be seen waving in their hometown Grande Day Parade Sunday, June 15. The parade begins at 12:30 p. m.
The Crow River News recently spoke with outgoing royalty members. Their responses are below.

What connections have you made through the Albertville Royalty program? How has this impacted you?
I have made many connections throughout my time with people in the community, my royal family, and neighboring communities. I have learned so much about Albertville and will forever cherish this opportunity to be a part of the community. I have formed close bonds with my royal family. Something people might not know about me:
Something that people don’ t know about me is how big of Disney fans my family and I are. It has become a family tradition to go to Disney World and has been a great way for me to bond with my family.
If you can pass along any wishes or words of wisdom to the future Albertville Royalty Court, what would you say?
Cherish every moment and lead by example. You only get this opportunity once in your life so soak up every second and take the platform you are given as an opportunity to give back to such an amazing community.
