INTERIOR – MICHAEL CERVANTES
The Banks Alehouse, Fairbanks
My name is Michael Cervantes and I have been
in the Hospitality industry for over 27 years. I
have lived in Fairbanks since 2008 as the local
owner of the franchise Boston’s Restaurant &
Sports Bar.
In 2014, I discontinued my agreement and
opened up The Banks Alehouse. I have been
active in my role as an Alaska CHARR Board
Member by participating in several committees,
including traveling to Juneau to meet
with Legislators and traveling to Washington,
D.C. to meet with our congressional delegation
and discuss industry issues. I have worked
with Hack (iCHARR) to get information out
to members so they stay informed. With your
help, I will continue working on your behalf as
an Alaska CHARR Board Member.

INTERIOR - GLENN BRADY
Silver Gulch Brewing & Bottling Co.,
Fairbanks
I have been involved with Alaska CHARR for
approximately 20 years. During this tenure, I
have served as Board Member, Vice-President
and President. In addition to serving on several
committees, I currently represent Alaska
CHARR’s interests on the National Restaurant
Association Board of Directors. Recently, I was
appointed to represent the industry on the
state ABC Board.
I am personally involved with business activities
in both Fairbanks and Anchorage that are
represented by our association, including a
brewery/brewpub, multiple beverage dispensary
licensees, a package store, and two restaurants.
I have been directly involved in working
with legislators and community members
to build respect and rapport for our industry,
and to promote responsible business-practices
by our industry members. I look forward to
continuing my efforts to that end.

SITKA - STAN FILLER
Ernie’s Old Time Saloon, Sitka
Hello, my name is Stan Filler, owner of Ernie’s
Old Time Saloon in Sitka, Alaska. I am a charter
member of Alaska CHARR and I have served on
the Board since 1979.
I’ve served several terms as the Chairman
of the Board. I think the work that CHARR
does is very important for our industry and I
would be pleased to continue to serve on the
board.
