COOK INLET CHARR
BOARD MEMBERS : « Darwin A . Biwer-President « Mike Ward - VP « Ron Tidler - Secretary / Treasurer
ABOUT COOK INLET CHARR :
Cook Inlet CHARR has finally jumped through all the necessary hoops to qualify to hold gaming permits to place Pull-tab in liquor license establishments . This will enable Cook Inlet CHARR to start making money to hire administrative staff . This will also allow Cook Inlet CHARR to provide CHARR members ’ service in the Anchorage area the attention they deserve .
Each non-profit is allowed five Pull-tab permits . Cook Inlet CHARR has placed one permit , and they are looking for four more locations .
Pull-tabs provide several benefits when placed in a location . They give customers another reason to patronize an establishment . Bartenders or servers benefit from tips by winners commensurate with the amount the customer wins — Cook Inlet CHARR benefits by receiving a percentage of the profits . The establishment also gets a percentage .
Alaska CHARR has a person designated to monitor Pull-tabs . They are qualified to explain the laws and rules for using Pulltabs . They can set you up and provide the container ( s ) and the Pull-tabs themselves .
Anyone who may be interested in placing a permit in their establishment should contact Alaska CHARR for more information .
