Regulator ' s Corner
The Alcoholic Beverage Control Board meets in Fairbanks March 6 – 7 at the Hampton Inn conference facilities , 433 Bentley Ave . Please note this will be a two-day meeting . The first day is dedicated to the regular board agenda . The second day will involve lengthy discussions of regulations the board will consider to implement the Title 4 Rewrite . Please listen in if your schedule allows . Please also review and comment on any proposed regulations that come from that meeting . You will be able to find a Zoom link to the meeting here the closer we get to the date of occurrence .
Since my last column , the ABC Board has now adopted regulations necessary to have seasonal restaurant or eating place tourism licenses issued this year . These licenses will be available in municipalities or established villages that have a population of 40,000 or fewer and receives more than 4,000 visitors a year . If you are interested in one of these licenses , we will soon have applications up for them on AMCO ’ s

If you are in Juneau the evening of February 23 , 2023 , please check with CHARR regarding an event we are planning to address questions you may have about the upcoming Title 4 Rewrite . We are similarly jointly planning an event for the evening of March 6 in Fairbanks . Mat-Su Valley , Anchorage , and other communities stay tuned . We will be visiting with you as well .
