Faris is delighted when his mother brings him a turtle to keep as a pet. He calls the turtle Zohlof and has a lot of fun playing with it. One day Zohlof wanders off in the garden and Faris is upset and sad when he cannot find it. This is a story that can be a springboard for a number of topics. One such topic is how our perception of things affects our beliefs. Everyday the turtle sees food falling in its tank from the sky and assumes that the sky is raining food.
