WHO AM I?
Life is like a race
and your performance has
more to do with mental status
than physical. Knowing who
you are based on your
purpose, potential will drive
you to succeed beyond
struggles. Even if you are not
a Christian, everyone wants to
know their purpose here on
earth! It becomes even more
important as you approach
puberty. Your view on life is
affected by how you see yourself and your
ability to make a mark in this world.
Why is it important that you understand who
you are? When you understand your
purpose, your focus will be guarded from the
many distractions of life. Some distractions
come in the form of trouble at home, school, work,
academic and physical challenges, illness, socialisation
issues like friendships or lack of friendships; access to
resources, community turmoil and dysfunctional
family culture. So what if you cannot escape these
situations? Are you just going to lay there in the gutter
and die, hoping to be washed away with the rubbish?
Oh no daughter, not you, not today!
