When you look in the mirror who do you
see? Who do you wish you would see?
Would you like to change your nose, or
teeth? Your hair or weight? Well luckily
technology allows us to hide many things.
You can edit your selfies on your smart phone using a
photo app. You can have many “friends” without the
consequence of an emotional responsibility, so it is
easy to say bad things without having to feel bad when
you look at their face and see how much you have hurt
someone. The truth is, you can have hundreds of
friends but you really are alone. No one visits you or
calls you to go to the movies and hang out. The friends
on your social network really don’t know you because
you use smiles and poses and lies to hide the pain from
living in a sad home, failing at work or school and even
from long term sickness that leaves you crying yourself
to sleep at nights.
Do you know what you are worth?
You are worth so much that even while you are a sinner
and are not even seeking God, the bible says in Romans
5:8 that “God demonstrates His own love for us in this:
While we were yet sinners, Christ dies for us”. You are
worth the life of the son of God! What does this have to
do with you? Well, sin gives the devil access to own
your soul and take it to hell where he lives. The devil
wants to build up a score to spite God because he knows
how special you are to God. But Grace says “You are not
what you did”. Gra ce says Jesus Christ purchases your
soul [you are ransomed and redeemed], so that when
