Our Experiences and Our Words Let’s continue to re-wire the brain. Another point to note is that, the way we think affects how we eventually behave and may attract like-minded persons. Words which are spoken into our lives plus words which we speak have a strong impact on our way of thinking. Words actually hurt more than sticks or stones by causing deep wounds that cannot be healed by a doctor, a cast or band-aid. If an experience hurts and we have not spoken and memorized positive and healing words, then we become bitter. Bitter people have bitter friends; positive people have positive friends. That does not mean you won’t have other types of people in your life but you will find those closest to you are those more like you. Complete the quote found in Chapter 2 “What you ________________ on you _________________. Your manifestation is a _________________ to your likeness.” We begin to act based on what we focus on. We develop muscle memory so much that when we dwell on negative things we do not recognize when good things are happening. When we are negative we also attract negative situations and people. Positive and confident thinking allows you to find opportunities in a bad situation and that will attract more positive people in your life. The type of friends you have will change over time.
