Having not experienced a fatherhood relationship
coupled with the thought of His name being hallowed
meant that God was so holy that I could never get close
to Him in my sinful state. I felt God was a judge sitting
on a throne away from reality issuing out unrealistic
expectations. The sad part about it is that I felt this way
as a Christian.
You may feel insecure and inferior about yourself
because you wonder why the person did not stay. That
person may have stayed but does not treat you well; so
the person is there but still rejects you.
But in Psalm 18:17 KJV you can say what David said “
He delivered me from my strong enemy, from those
who hated me; for they were too mighty for me.”
Daughter, don’t forget Whose you are. Persons come
and persons go but God will never leave you nor forsake
you [Deuteronomy 3:16 .
