Dhyan
A Result
'Dhyan' is the resultant output,
the net result of one's being in his
original dharma or virtue. This
state varies according to the
evolution and understanding of
intrinsic properties possessed by
living beings. As a human being
we are exposed to 4 types 'dhyan'
that determines our state of being
at a particular point in time and
road map for our future births.
They are:
Artadhyan
When a person is constantly in
distress and sufferings through
fear, worries or anxieties is
believed to be in a state of
Artadhyan. This person is not
hurting any other living being in
particular but he himself is in
distress. Parents worrying about
the marriage of their daughters,
wishing departure of unwanted
guests, feeling internally agitated
in any event are few examples of
the people living in artadhyan.
Wishing good gatherings to last
longer is also a subtle form of
artadhyan. The net consequence
of artadhyan is next life in animal
kingdom.
