players were called together for the
safety briefing and team division, the
head-count was over 200 (it eventually
reached 215 – good job Neal and Dan
were well-prepared!).
There were to be two teams for the
day (Bravo and Delta), with a rolling
scenario that started with a VIP snatch
and evolved into the acquisition of a
number of strategically placed parts
that were required to construct a
bomb. The day would end in a full-scale
assault, with the eventual winners
being the team in occupation of the
village at the centre of the site at
game-end.
As the players gathered we were
struck by the sheer variety of load-outs,
camouflage and kit on display and also
by the players themselves. There were
