Operations Specialist Air & Space Operations
The Operations Specialist role is part of the Air & Space Operations Profession within the RAF , which also includes Operations Officer , Control Officer . Air Traffic and Weapons Controller , Firefighter and Aviation Data Analyst .
Professions in the RAF are distinct areas of defence expertise where common skills and attributes are required to deliver on demand . Whilst Service Personnel can expect to spend the majority of their career in their chosen Specialisation they may be employed in any of the Specialisations within their Profession : this will depend upon aptitude , qualifications , career aspirations and the Service need .
