KEEPING ALL PEDALS TO THE METAL

The trucking industry is about more than just driving big rigs.
MHC in Springdale keeps trucks rolling by repairing all kinds of semis and diesel equipment, but it doesn’ t stop there. The company also has careers in logistics, purchasing, customer service and sales. A new location, near Wagon Wheel Road and Interstate 49, is giving the company room to double its space and add at least 25 new jobs. MHC especially needs diesel and body shop technicians to keep truck fleets on the road.
Being a diesel technician is a high-tech job with good pay. Today’ s big rigs have sophisticated computer systems that can read speed limit signs and even spot objects in the road. Diesel techs have to be specially trained to work on those systems. If you’ re a good diesel technician, you can earn more money that what you might make in many other jobs that require a college degree. There is a nationwide shortage of diesel technicians because many people don’ t think of it as a good career. At MHC, that couldn’ t be further from the truth.
Body shop technicians at MHC are in charge of rebuilding trucks that have been in an accident or have other damage. If you like working on cars or trucks, MHC will teach you the skills you need.
