The home office provides accounting, finance, human resources, information technology and safety resources, Wilson said. Each of the individual offices provides the other services, including purchasing, construction, sales and closings, he added.
You could build a career and change lives at Rausch Coleman Homes.
The company focuses on building houses for first-time buyers.
“ The American dream is home ownership,” said Andy Wilson, President.“ When people buy a home, their lives are changed. That is what drives us.”
The company purchases land, oversees construction, finds buyers, helps with financing and closes the sale. A subcontractor builds the homes, but Rausch Coleman handles all other elements to bring a family into a home.
“ Residential construction is highly rewarding because we are helping families improve their quality of life,” said Rose Thomas, Senior Director of Human Resources and Talent Management.“ We are committed to providing homes that are high quality and affordable.”
“ Often times, we witness the joy of families buying their very first home,” Thomas said.“ Team members find that satisfaction the most rewarding experience working here.”
The company has a combined 200 employees in all its divisions, with about 75-80 located in Northwest Arkansas. The company builds on average 1,200 homes a year with over 300 of them being built in Northwest Arkansas.
Rausch Coleman continues to expand into new locations, and it is these ongoing growth opportunities which create more jobs.
Field managers and construction managers are needed the most, Wilson said. Neither job requires a college education, but experience in residential construction is preferred, he said.
The faith-based company started in 1955 in Fort Smith. Buddy Coleman founded the company with John Rausch, his grandson, who now heads the company. Rausch Coleman has offices in Northwest Arkansas, Little Rock, Oklahoma City, Jonesboro, Tulsa, San Antonio and Kansas City. The home office is in Fayetteville.
