If you have been to a buffet, you have experienced modern day privileges and predicament in that one meal.
For, you have seen the extensive choice on offer and gone through the entire decision making process in a time lapse – identifying opportunity, gathering information, generating alternatives, comparing and evaluating and making a choice.
In all likelihood, you experienced some of these emotions; being overwhelmed by the alternatives, confusion, temptation of taking more than you need, guilt of making a wrong choice, regret in
retrospect for choosing one over the others.
We live in an age where such buffets are served to us for every item, from breakfast cereals and jams, travel packages and investment plans to birthing techniques and funeral

Choice, that is not severely limited or artificially restricted, improves quality of life. It is essential for autonomy and wellbeing. But beyond a point,‘ more choice’ may not always mean more autonomy or better life.
