Summer Franco , a resident of Orange Beach , stepped up to volunteer just as she had at AHERO ’ s First Orange Beach Warrior Hook-Up . Without her endless energy and total genius as coordinator , I can ’ t imagine how all the “ bells ” would have rung on schedule and all the “ whistles ” would have tooted on time ! Summer ensured that arrangements like transportation were precisely made and any event accommodations were in place , on time .
Generosity of spirit lifts the spirits of all who are shown it . The kindness and care we were shown at the Wharf was a great part of what made our time there wonderfully memorable .
So to Art Farve and Wharf General Manager Jim Bibby and his team … and to Billy Whittington and all the staff at Heron Pointe and The Wharf at Orange Beach : Here ’ s a huge AHERO THANK YOU going out to y ’ all from those of us who were there enjoying a great – and my first ever ! – Warrior Hook-Up Weekend !
AHERO ’ s 10th Pensacola Beach Annual Warrior Hookup is happening this summer ! Please do your part and give what you can to help pay for travel and lodging for those whose injuries and disabilities qualify them to benefit from a restorative AHERO event .
