The Baume & Mercier partnership with AGSM

When a luxury Swiss watch brand comes knocking at your door – you answer. Baume & Mercier, the mason known for turning out high quality timepieces, was just that brand. With a long history of partnering with the world’ s best business schools, Baume naturally found their way to the doors of AGSM.
Founded in 1830, Baume & Mercier has found itself present, over the last 180 years, at many of life’ s major celebrations. The graduation gift, the wedding present, the first job bonus; for every celebration there is the perfect watch to go along with it. Priding itself on quality, design, and top finishes – there really isn’ t a comparably priced watch of this calibre. The AGSM Baume et Mercier partnership was officially launched a few months back at the UNSW Business School Awards Ceremony, where the two top-performing MBA students were awarded The Baume et Mercier MBA Excellence Award for academic achievement. 6 AGSM
Nandini Gaur and Matthew Shiskowski were presented with beautiful Classima watches, and were further celebrated at the AGSM Graduation Reception during an address from Baume et Mercier Country Manager Jean Conrié.
‘ As a considerate and active partner of many colleges and universities around the world, Baume et Mercier supports the latest generation by creating strong emotional ties with the leaders of tomorrow,’ said Mr Conrié. AGSM, the Australian representative business school, joins a number of other prestigious universities including IE Business School of Madrid, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Business School, and the American University of Dubai in partnerships with the brand.
Baume & Mercier watches have long celebrated the unforgettable moments in life. Graduating is one of them; a key moment that symbolises the first of many successes. Winning the Pitch Perfect Competition is another. This year’ s winner Samantha Loring had this to say,“ I was so excited to win the pitch competition, and I am proud to wear my new Classima watch to meetings and on interviews. I feel confident in the watch and it sends the perfect message to employers.”
