YOUR FIRST ROLE
CAREER
Your first Role will be as Cabin Crew on the Airbus A330-200 Multi Role Tanker Transport Aircraft “ Voyager ”. During this time you will consolidate your training and gain valuable experience that will prepare you for the rest of your RAF Reserve career .
YOUR FUTURE CAREER PROSPECTS AND PROGRESSION :
You will initially join the RAF Reserve for a period of 5 years . As a Reservist you will be expected to commit to a minimum of 27 days each year and maintain your qualifications on the Voyager Aircraft . You will be required to carry out mandatory training either at your Squadron or through the online Defence Learning Environment ( DLE ). You will also need to maintain a level of fitness that allows you to pass the annual RAF Fitness Test .
Further promotion to the rank of Corporal and beyond is by competitive selection . We want you to grow and experience all the opportunities , challenges and responsibilities that being an AGS has to offer , but it will be up to you manage your career and tell us when you are ready for a new challenge .
