The Agri’s got Talent team will be visiting
the 10 finalists during the month of July
in preparation for the competition which
culminates in a Gala Evening on 3 August.
The contest is hosted by Hortgro, the
Vinpro Foundation and the Western Cape
Department of Agriculture, with the aftercare
programme sponsored by SATI.
Tru-Cape Fruit Marketing, the largest exporter
of South African apples and pears into more
than 104 countries, says their growers often
feature in the top 10. “We know we have the
required talent when it comes to growing
apples and pears, but it is great to know that
our industry has the other bases covered too.
