Our modern life is full of necessity, turmoil and struggles and that never stops. We wake
up to the daily hours of life to breathe a monotonous life that oscillates between a survival
need and routine life schedule. It takes away the limitless sky of imagination and get us
used to skyscrapers, clatters of motor engines and hullabaloo of urban life. While living
away from home and nature and swinging through the web of technology, we often forget
to seek peace in those meaningful life events that actually feed our soul, that make us alive
again. Durga puja revives that broken cord. It tied us back together with our roots, with
our ecstasy of bonhomie, with our joyous self that finds peace in those life events. It opens
all our senses to feel the beauty of nature, connects us to all those forlorn melodies that
shape our life. Like me, many of you may share similar reasons to celebrate the spirit of
durga puja. So may be for a while, let us be alive again. Let ourselves loosen up from our
hectic busy life and ride those memories of food, memories of love and care, memories of
all those countless jiffies that connects us to life, friends and families. Let us celebrate life
again.
