Meals on Wheels of RI’ s private pay service option is available separately from its traditional program service. No donor dollars are used to facilitate private pay delivery.
• Available to any Rhode Island resident
• Schedule delivery for 2 to 5 days per week, on weekdays
• Menu choice of general wellness, cardiac friendly, Latinx, Asian-inspired or Savory Fare elevated menu
• Service starts at $ 10 per meal delivery

Home-Delivered Meals Come with Care
Since 1969, Meals on Wheels of RI has helped our state’ s homebound older adults to thrive through delivery of delicious and nutritionally sound meals, wellness checks and social visits.
Now, through its private pay program, the nonprofit offers any Rhode Islander the same quality service and daily delivery of smiles and cheer.
Home-delivered meals can be a lifeline for older adults living with limited mobility or chronic conditions, such as arthritis, that can make cooking their own meals difficult, or for those recovering from a prolonged illness or hospitalization.
Your service includes meal delivery up to five days per week with a wellness check and visit with a program driver at every delivery.
Meals come fully prepared and are delivered chilled, so that they can be easily reheated when it’ s time to eat. Clients can choose from several meal menus
