Pilot scheme in NSW will provide mentors
for potentially isolated people living with
dementia, and their family and friends.

eople across New South Wales
affected by dementia will now have
access to one-on-one coaching
support as part of a pilot program run by
Alzheimer’s Australia NSW.
The Better Life pilot program, funded by
a National Dementia Support Programs
(NDSP) innovation grant, connects isolated
people across the state in the early stages
of dementia – and family and friends
of people living with dementia – with a
personal coach.
