“We become what we repeatedly do” is a quote by Sean Covey that clearly states the effects of habits such as plagiarism. When drowned in work and with the pressure of deadlines at our doorstep, copying and pasting someone else’s work might seem like an easy relief. However, this easy relief becomes an addiction, and we begin to repeatedly plagiarize in order to release all the tension our academic demands thrust on us.

What would we rather be, the sum of our own hard work and effort or the product of someone else’s creativity and ideas? Do we want to be defined by the values and inspirations we set or the aspirations and fragments of someone else’s dreams? You are better off as a first-rate version of yourself rather than a second-rate version of someone else.
