" With thousands of visitors , an astonishing entertainment line-up , celebrities , Indian demo rides , the best tribute bands and an impressive ' Indian Motorcycles Only ' AMD Approved Budweis Custom Show , this event has everything in it for every Indian Motorcycle rider to fully enjoy a great weekend in Budweis , in the Bohemian region of Czechia ( Czech Republic ). And there was more , much more … good food , drinks ( this area is hallowed ground for the global brewing industry ), local ride-outs and , of course , the chance of winning the fabulous new Indian 101 Scout . And let ’ s not forget the officially organized and local government endorsed Indian motorcycle parade on Saturday afternoon - led by organizers Jean Marie Guyon and his wife Leona , followed by a large number of celebrities such as racers Jeremy McWilliams and Carey Hart , Indian Motorcycle ' s design guru Ola Stenegärd and many more - not least a wild bunch of female Indian riders - and hundreds and hundreds of enthusiastic Indian Motorcycle fans from around the world . just as fantastic , but this year saw the entertainment , main stage and vendors located closer to each other - proving to be a much better layout ,
' the fifth annual IRF and second Budweis Custom Show '
creating a ' community '. Wild stunts and crazy tricks drew a crowd , both at the stunt riding area , where Martin Kratky burned and screamed his tires to shreds , and in the famous Wall of Death from the causing mile-high goosebumps on your arm . There was also a special presentation by Dutch street theatre ' Abacus ' with their out-of-this-world steam-punk vehicles - riding all over the place and making a huge impact . In one of the main halls , the Indian ' Veteran ' exhibition took you back way into the past , beautiful old and indeed very rare Indian motorcycles - it was a breathtaking sight . In the same hall , Indian apparel and IRF merchandise pleased all the ' shopaholics ' needs with a record number of vendors and shops set up . All the while the Indian Motorcycle crew was busy getting everybody organized for demo rides on
Hall R1 was the Indian customizers ' heaven , with over forty customized Indian motorcycles ( about ten more than last year ) for the second ' Indian Only ', AMD Approved Budweis Custom Show with incredible craftsmanship , stunning bike design and creativity and impeccable finishes . There were seven classes , including the only known ' Gilroy Indian ' from David , much to the surprise of Ola Stenegärd , who designed this bike as being an Indian Factory Custom limited edition way back in the day , and only six of them were built . Not many people know it , but Indian had licensed Indian motorcycles being
Best of Budweis Indian Motorcycle Custom Show was awarded to the most outstanding build , combining the best elements from all seven classes . This is the ultimate prize , awarded to the builder whose motorcycle stands out as the most exceptional and innovative creation at the Indian Riders Fest 2024 . The winner was Markus Krasser ( Austria ), with " El Acorazado ", a 2023 Super Chief . smart organizers .
