After being void in those markets for over ten years ", Melvin says it " plans to regrow global distribution in these markets during the next few years ." In a press release , the company announced that , with the support of the U . S . Small Business Administration and the Michigan Development Corporation , it has hired an experienced internal team to handle international dealers .
BMW reports a -3.1 % drop in motorcycle sales for Q1 , 2024 , from 47,935 units in the year-ago quarter to 46,434 this year . However , the company is forecasting a slight increase in deliveries for its motorcycles segment for the full year , with an EBIT margin within the target range of 8-10 %.

Turn 14 Powersports says it has given " significant attention " to product development , acquisition and inventory of products for the company ' s twelve powersports brands . The organization says it expects an increasing flow of both new and existing products to be available to dealers . The recent appointment of Matt Sturdevant as Director of Brand Management strengthens the powersports team ' s resources and leadership , and the move to new offices in Keller , TX , as well as the nearby Innovation Center , " provides the ideal environment for accelerated product development . The 10,000 sq ft Innovation Center will house a workshop , photo studio and apparel testing lab ." River Road , the well-known former Tucker apparel brand , had announced a broad lineup of street and touring apparel in Q3 2023 , shortly before the announcement of Turn 14 Distribution ' s acquisition of the brand . " The line of products includes leather jackets , vests , gloves , chaps and helmets for cruiser and V-twin riders seeking high-quality , affordable riding gear . Turn 14 Powersports is now able to make the full line of products available to dealers with inventory available immediately ."
Supply chain had clearly been an issue , but Turn 14 Powersports says that it has now successfully secured its vendor supply chain , ensuring a steady flow of products .
