The motorcycle industry ' s publishing sector does not have a happy history of collaboration or respect for rivals . Petty disdain and juvenile arrogance better characterize the rivalries of decades past . Most of the protagonists of the past have disappeared from view now , but AMD is happy to recognize the recognition given to V-twin industry vendors by fellow survivor Powersports Business in its 25th anniversary ' Nifty 50 ' awards earlier this year .

Hard to say quite where it is positioned , except to say that it looks like it is aimed at an amalgam of at least three current Ducati models , with lashings of KTM rivalry thrown in for good measure . The important question about BMW ' s R20 project is not what it is designed to be , but if it will make it into production ?

Apparently it is a contemporary adjective that means something along the lines of really rather good ! Either way , the 2024 Custom Show Season has been " hapenin ' " for several weeks now , with the growing AMD ' Approved ' program playing its part . This month we celebrate the 38th annual Biker Fest in Italy and a new member of the program , the Rheinhessen Rumble in Germany - both in May .
RACING IMPROVES THE GENE POOL : Never Forget the Inner Child ! ...... 10-14 The importance of racing to the evolution of the motorcycle industry , and the products that enthusiasts eventually get to ' throw a leg ' on , can never be underestimated . As we publish this edition , the Isle of Man TT is on , the MotoGP , World SBK and MX World Championships have been in full swing for several weeks already , and ' Bonneville ' is upcoming . This month we have reports from the latest ( at time of press ) AFT Series rounds , AMRA Drag Races and both flavors of Bagger Racing .
