Following a product launch in Barcelona , Spain , Livewire has announced a launch price of € 18,490.00 in Germany ( and equivalents in other primary European markets ) for its S2 platform Del Mar electric motorcycle . The company started taking European reservations for the Del Mar at the end of October 2023 , for a fee of € 100.00 . The first European deliveries of the S2 Del Mar production version are planned for the first quarter of 2024 . In Europe , the Del Mar is compatible with the A or A2 driver ' s licenses . Thanks to the electric drive , the peak power of the S2 Del Mar is 63 kW ( 85.7 hp ) and the continuous power is 30 kW ( 40.8 hp ), which qualifies it for the A2 driving license .

The Pennsylvania Senate has issued a proclamation honoring Willie G . Davidson , the Davidson family and Harley-Davidson , Inc . for 120 years of continuous motorcycle production and 50 years of assembling motorcycles in the company ' s York , Pennsylvania manufacturing plant . Harley-Davidson ' s Chief Styling Officer Emeritus , Willie G ., as he is universally known , recently published a memoir , which chronicles company history and his life as a descendant of the founders and leader of the iconic company . He makes mention of the York manufacturing plant several times in the book , titled Ride Free , A Memoir . The ceremony presenting the citation took place outside the capitol building in Harrisburg , PA . on October 25 , 2023 , and was attended by government officials , Harley-Davidson dealers , riders , Harley-Davidson ' s General Manager of York Manufacturing Chris Yurista Sr . and Karen Davidson , Harley-Davidson Marketing Director and daughter of Willie G . Davidson .

BMW Motorrad has announced global Q3 deliveries of 52,037 (+ 0.5 %) motorcycles and scooters in total . " Building on the previous all-time sales high it posted for the first half-year , strong customer demand for BMW Group motorcycles and scooters continued in the third quarter . With the upcoming market launch of the new R 1300 GS , BMW Motorrad will have its most important product highlight of the year in showrooms by the end of Q4 ."
