Robin Bradley picks up on his January theme about AIMExpo appearing to ' Have The Big Mo ' and runs all the way back to 1950s Bobbers and Easy Rider movie salvage yard custom builds . His basic thinking is that the inability of AIMExpo to attract custom market exhibitors and dealers doesn ' t mean that custom shop owners have no reason to visit the show .

KTM owner Stefan Pierer ' s ambition appears to know no bounds . Having successfully added both Husqvarna and GasGas , to say nothing of his burgeoning e-bike portfolio , the latest news is of his PIERER Mobility taking a 25.1 % stake in former Harley subsidiary MV Agusta - we doubt it will end there though !

The provisional 2022 full-year results from Ducati , KTM Group and BMW show the three leading European motorcycle manufacturers posting good results for 2022 . However , while Spain and ( especially ) Italy look ' robust ' for now , the trend data show Germany and the UK already in recession in new unit registration terms .
