These new 4.0 " O . D . Power House slip-on mufflers are available in two versions and two finishes for Sport Glide models . The 30 " version is said to offer better sound and more usable power than the OE muffler , while retaining the factory body length . For those who want to remove their hard bags , there is a 20 " version that provides a shorter hot rod look , with a distinctive performance tone . Both can be used with the OE hard bags ; the 4 " diameter muffler bodies come with billet tips and the stock 30 " version
Hawg Halters Inc . ( HHI ) has introduced a new HHI rear brake caliper kit for 2018 and M-8 Softail models . Featuring a classic 500 series HHI billet aluminum , four-piston differential bore caliper incorporating a one-piece billet mounting bracket , " this dual seal caliper with the latest hard coated 7075 aerospace alloy pistons delivers optimum performance ." Available in show chrome or anodized black , each kit comes complete with an ABS rear section braided brake line , Grade 8 mounting hardware and all the necessary banjo bolts and washers . Non-ABS applications will require a separately available complete replacement brake line . accepts the OE heat shield . Both require a separately available inlet gasket . Fitment is for 2018 and later FLSB Sport Glide models ; the 20 " version is in choice of chrome or black with a machined black tip ; the 30 " version is in choice of chrome with black tip or black with black cut step down tip .

After 18 months of R & D and testing ( in the dyno room and on the road ), Viola , Wisconsin based S & S Cycle ( those masters of ' Proven Performance ') is finally ready to unleash its newest beasts . These bolt-in 129 / 132 cubic inch ( well over 2,000 cc ) M-8 big bore kits take the stock engines from 107 ci to 129 ci or the 114 ci models to 132 cubic inches . The 4.32 " bore is slated for a pump gas friendly 11:1 compression ratio and optional use of a high lift cam , without case mods or engine removal . For all 2017-2022 M-8 engines .
