age; therefore, skills development should be a must to aide in their growth and development. Technology
plays a huge role in everything whether it is in the sports industry or corporate world. Therefore, as
technology continues to evolve so will we, in terms of the training methodologies we implement.
ASM: Now you know I will have to ask you if you plan on establishing Sierra Leone’s first ever Woman run
Soccer Academy as a parallel project with what you have started here in Maryland USA?
Adama: This is the big money question indeed. In life you
don’t say no or never because each day brings forth
different opportunities. I most certainly will love to
flat out say yes to your question; however, such
commitment involves a team of people with the
same vision, mission and passion to execute such
plans. I’m always open and willing to give back to
Sierra Leone; when the opportunity presents
itself and with the right team of people then
why not.
ASM: - You worked for one of the women
Pioneer in this Sports in Mrs. Isha
Johansen who is the current and only
Female Soccer Association President
in the world, what can you say about
her accomplishment and what does
that means for the role of women in
the sports
Adama: It certainly is a privilege
and honor to have worked with
Mrs. Johansen and I truly applaud her
for her commitment, dedication, hard
work and relentless tenacity especially in a male dominated
sport. She is truly an inspiration to me as well as young girls/women alike knowing that it really
is possible for us to succeed as a woman and positively impact the sport. She is very passionate about the
sport while also ensuring the appropriate emphasis is not overlooked especially in the area of youth
development.
With such drive, it absolutely is no surprise to see the accomplishments that she has made and I’m quite sure
there is more to come from her.
